If the refreshed Porsche Taycan wasn’t enough for you, Porsche is cranking up the Taycan’s performance to new heights. Meet the 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and the even more audacious Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package models.

The latest Taycan variant adds power, shaves weight, and is targeting the racetrack. This new Porsche Taycan has already laid down impressive lap times at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca and the famed Nordschleife at the Nürburgring.

Building on the upgrades for the rest of the Taycan lineup, Porsche massaged more oomph out of the revised Taycan with an upgraded pulse inverter. At peak power, this Porsche can send 1092 hp to the wheels. Unlocking all of that power can only happen after setting up the Taycan GT’s launch mode, which raises peak power to 1019 hp.

For a staggering two seconds, Porsche will unlock all 1092 ponies during a launch. That helps the Taycan GT sprint to 60 mph in a brisk 2.1 seconds when optioned with the Weissach package. Without that performance package, the Taycan GT hustles to 60 mph in 2.2 seconds.

If you’re wondering how Porsche implemented the Weissach package on the GT—a package famous for its hardcore track-focused nature—it’s simple: Engineers put the Taycan GT on a diet, shaving 157 pounds off the curb weight. This package gets rid of the soft-closing doors and trunk lid, opts for a lightweight luggage compartment, and ditches the rear seat.
